Six-year-old Charlotte Campbell got her first cochlear implant at age four, and just had to return for her second. Her dad decided to do something to show his support for his daughter:
So he got his own implant tattooed to his head.

Alistair Campbell told the New Zealand Herald that he wanted to do it to show her that he could go through a little bit of pain for her, too. The photo is going viral, because it’s so damn sweet.
The implants have greatly improved Charlotte’s quality of life, according to her mother. Mrs. Campbell says Charlotte went from not talking to anybody to being “pretty much a social butterfly.” You can see by the look on her face that she’s a happy child and the love of her father just radiates off the image. He says, “[I did it for] my love for her, really. My hair can grow back.”
The Herald reports that when Charlotte saw her dad’s new tattoo she “giggled” and thought it was “cool.” Alistair told Buzzfeed, “It has changed her life being given the gift of sound.”

All the feels. All of them.
As parents, we’ll do anything to make our children happier – more comfortable. These photos sum up a dad’s love beautifully.
