Funny. Jen just told me, “Go to Scary Mommy. Cute.” And cute it is, indeed. My 2 yo has taken to sleeping with a pile of matchbox cars and trucks lately. Upon waking in the morning he sits on the edge of his bed calling Daddy over and over again because there are so many cars that he can’t carry them all without dropping one or two along the way. Of course my husband, the problem solver, promptly gave him a tupperware container to put them in before bedtime tonite. Oh how the men are problem solvers. And this time? It’s great.
Oh the cuteness.

I love this because my son, Jack, is a train fanatic. Never knew a child to love something like he does trains. I’m 35 years old and still can’t claim a passion like that!

Oh gosh, I didn’t know other toddler boys did this too! My twins would take every train and car to bed if they could, but we have to limit it. I always tell them “one toy” and they always “sneak” a second. What’s wrong with a comfy stuffed animal? :-D

That is just so cute! I remember when I gave my nephew a Fisher Price Marina for his 2nd birthday. He loved it so much that he insisted on sleeping with the entire marina…boats, house, everything.
