A group of moms trying to get their daughters interested in softball thought of a genius idea: why not use something all little girls adore to help pique their interests? That something was Frozen, of course.

The moms decided to form a softball team for their girls and call it The Freeze. Their uniforms were turquoise shirts, white pants, and turquoise and white tie-dye socks in homage to every little girl’s favorite Queen — Elsa.

One of the moms is also a photographer, and thought of the genius idea of having the girls dress in their Elsa princess costumes for one of the team’s photos. Betsy Gregory told NewsOk that the moms purely wanted their girls to play for enjoyment: “The parents who coached the team, most of whom were moms, decided that they were just going to enjoy themselves. They didn’t have a ton of practices. They never talked to the girls about who won or lost. ‘We came in dead last,’ Betsy admitted, ‘but we had lots of fun.'”

She wanted the images she took of the team to reflect that sense of fun and joy. That’s how she came up with shooting the girls in their costumes. She snapped a few frames of the girls and the internet went nuts.

Gregory says the images are all about girl power: “You’re a little girl, and you can do anything,” she said. “Don’t let people get in your way. Go for it. Wear an Elsa dress and play softball.”

What an awesome message for little girls: you don’t have to define yourself. You can be whoever you want to be.
