My older daughter had her ear pierced at 10. It was all I heard about….when, when, when? Finally, we did it. She bought 700 pairs of earrings, and now, strangely, at 13, she doesn’t wear earrings at all. Her holes are closing up and she doesn’t care. After all that?! She does have a mass of thick long hair (like me and I don’t wear earrings, either), so I am thinking maybe that is why. No one can really see them.

Now that he is 10 years old, I feel so sad knowing how fast he is growing. I would treasure every moment spent with him. Nice photo of your daughter by the way. She really does look so grown up.
