It may have been one of the most requested and imitated hairstyles of the ’90s, but Jennifer Aniston recently dropped the bombshell that she actually hated “The Rachel” cut named for her character on Friends. “I was not a fan of the “Rachel,” she told Glamour. “That was kind of cringe-y for me.”

Four other little known facts about The Rachel:

1) Aniston would rather shave her head than rock the look again: When asked during a 2013 spot on The Kyle and Jackie O Show if she’d rather shave her head one time or wear “The Rachel” for the rest of her life, Jen quickly responded: “Shave my hair once, definitely!” she said.

2) The actress couldn’t actually style it herself: “I couldn’t do it on my own,” she told Glamour. “I needed [my hairstylist] Chris [McMillan] attached to my hip. Left to my own devices, I am not skilled with a hairbrush and blow-dryer.”

3) And speaking of Chris… according to Aniston, he was high as a kite when he designed it: “He was loaded when he gave me the haircut,” she told Graham Norton. “Stoned out of his mind.”

4) Meanwhile…. Courtney Cox was totally jealous of it: While Jen went around secretly hating on The Rachel, Courtney told Jimmy Kimmel back in September that she still wonders why no one wanted “The Monica”. “You know what? It kind of bums me out,” she said. “Why didn’t they? We had the same hairdresser. I don’t understand. I got nothing. I kept changing mine, like, ‘If you don’t like it I’ll just keep doing it,’ and they never stuck!”

And it’s a good thing. Because then we would have missed out on this:

You go, girlfriend!
