How many times have I raced out of work to get home in time to see that little face before bedtime? Lean in, be present, get fit. Get real. Just when I’m about to be totally maxed out, there will be an unexpected drawing for me on a shard of paper. Or a surprise googly-eyed popsicle stick person tucked inside my purse. Then I hear the way she squeals when I walk through the door, and it all seems doable again. Here’s to celebrating how hard we work and to making the little wins even sweeter.
