This little girl has no idea why “Marack Obama” isn’t president anymore

Like so many of us, one little girl has about had it with the whole “Barack Obama is no longer the president” situation. Her mom got her thoughts on video to share with the world, and you’ll be grateful she did.

Because it’s basically the cutest thing ever.

Five-year-old Taylor is pretty torn up about Barack Obama’s presidency coming to an end this year, and she has also beef with the fact that Hillary Clinton lost the election. In a series of three ridiculously cute Instagram videos, we hear the precocious kiddo muse out loud on the insanity of it all.

First, disbelief.

A flabbergasted Taylor asks, “Why did he [Obama] go? Where did he go? So why do we have the president we have now at the same spot he was and why did he leave it anyway?” Her mom patiently explains the fact that presidents have term limits, but enough of that. Now, Taylor wants to know why Hillary Clinton isn’t president.

“But how come Hillary did not get to be the president and why is she the loser?” As some of us start to tear up because seriously, why, Taylor goes all philosophical asking, “And what are they even winning, anyway?”

Mind. Blown.

Taylor then references what was probably a mock election at her school of different foods to help the kids understand the voting process saying she “voted for the pizza.”

Taylor for president in 2020, please.

Part two of her rant focuses on understanding…sort of.

“So, Marack Obama voted for the president we have now?” she asks. Her mom explains that no one knows who Obama voted for (though we probably have a pretty good idea). Taylor slowly tries to work out how exactly Trump won.

“He won because a lot of people wanted him to be president…these people voted for Donald Trump,” she says incredulously, as though she can’t quite grasp it.

She’s not exactly alone there.

Her last installment ends on a tone of numb acceptance, but not before some lessons on geography and the electoral college.

“There’s a lot of people voting not for Hillary?” Taylor says as she attempts to solve the riddle of why Trump is in office. Her mom starts off trying to explain how Hillary lost, but technically won, and ends up abandoning ship. Because really, it’s pretty hard to get an adult to understand the electoral college and the popular vote let alone a kindergartener. “Well actually, more people- it’s a long story,” she says.

Taylor moves on to a more pressing issue. She wants to know why Donald Trump lives in the White House, crying out exasperatedly, “Why does he have to live there?” Not ready to let it go, she declares, “I want him to live somewhere else. I don’t want him living in Texas.”

Her mom clues her in that the president actually doesn’t live in Texas, but no matter. Taylor’s still not having it.

“Well I don’t want him being our president, anyway…I wanted Hillary and Marack Obama,” she pouts.

You and me both, kid.
