Eileen Flood O’Connor is a freelance writer and mother of four. She writes about the joys and challenges of parenting a special needs child as well as the roller coaster of parenting, marriage, and life in general. She graduated from UVA and attended Columbia University’s School of Journalism. She has worked as a grant writer at nonprofits in New York and Washington, D.C. and currently serves on the Board of the Adaptive Sports Foundation. She grew up in Queens and lives now with her family in Rye, New York.
