Jennifer Li Shotz is an editor at The Mid. She has written for Salon, Budget Living, and the anthology Tied in Knots: Funny Stories from the Wedding Day, and has penned several young adult novels. She attended Vassar College and received her MFA in nonfiction from Columbia. She served brief stints as a costumed-character wrangler, toy developer, commercial production assistant, and producer of food photography shoots (ask her how they get the meat to glisten), and worked for many years in higher education communications.
