Palmer

Originally a surname, derived from the Latin "palma," indicating palm tree leaves of the Holy Land; pilgrims carried some home with them as proof of their journeys, and the leaves were waved in celebration when Jesus entered Jerusalem (hence the yearly Christian commemoration of Palm Sunday). Your little Palmer may remind you of palm leaves too - in that their antics may occasionally make you wish that you were someplace tropical instead of dealing with the daily grind of parenthood.
