The helmet-wearing babies of Twitter came out in adorable support of Chrissy Teigen and her son Miles

Having a baby means worrying for basically 18 years straight. Even the relatively benign stuff is cause for mild panic, and knowing you’re not alone in your worries makes all the difference. Enter the parents of Twitter when Chrissy Teigen shared the first photos of her son sporting a helmet to “fix his flat.”

Warning: this thread full of helmeted cuties may make your ovaries explode.

Teigen tweeted yesterday afternoon that her six-month-old son Miles was going to be fitted for a helmet to help combat his flat head. It’s a condition known as plagiocephaly, and it’s pretty common in infants, but she wanted her fans to know that he’s totally fine.

“baby miles getting fitted for a little helmet today for his adorable slightly misshapen head,” she writes. “so if you see pictures, don’t feel bad for him because he’s just fixing his flat and honestly he’s probably gonna be even cuter with it somehow.”

She showed everyone the result of his fitting and of course, he is cuter with it somehow.

Seriously. LOOK AT HIM.

Teigen’s sounding all casual sharing the news, but as any momma knows, there’s a little worry in there somewhere. That people will pity him or think something’s “wrong,” which is absolutely no fun for a parent to contemplate. So Teigen’s getting ahead of any social media know-it-alls and concern trolls but putting it out there.

We’re guessing she didn’t imagine the response she would get — one adorable helmeted baby after another, letting her and Miles know they’re in very good flat-headed company.

Some even pointed out how fun it is to decorate them.

Parents also thanked Teigen for talking honestly about her son’s helmet.

For her part, Miles’ momma was extremely appreciative of all the parents coming out to share their helmeted little ones.

Oh, and remember how we mentioned those concern trolls? They came anyway — and in regular Chrissy Teigen fashion, she swiftly shut them down.

But also in regular Chrissy Teigen fashion, she’s right back to her usual brand of insanely on-point sarcasm as she alludes to comments on a recent Instagram video where she danced with her little girl.

You’re doing the Lord’s work, Chrissy. Please never change.
