You know how some women dress up and put on makeup just because they like how it makes them feel pretty? I’m the same way with being well-spoken and grammatically correct – I do it because it makes me feel intelligent and sophisticated.
Stopping overextending myself for my “friends”. They don’t need me to take care of them/be constantly available. I thought it would show what a good friend I am, it just shows that they aren’t. I’m not going to be the first one to check-in anymore.

besides the really mean kids, the worst part of middle school was leaving the bright, nurturing environment of elementary school and suddenly being treated like I was a drug crazed criminal by the teachers. No wonder so many teens go that route.
Am I the only one in the [email protected] damn world who can't figure out how to use my Gmail account? How have I had it for 9 years and it's still a mystery where things go and how to send emails to different folders.

I'm a mental health counselor in rest homes. I talk w ppl others may think "would not benefit" like alzheimers, nonverbal stroke, & psychotics that cant hold a convo. I believe I will see them again in heaven, whole,& glad I talked when others ignored em
The neighborhood kids all know to get me if they get a scrape. It makes me feel good knowing they know I will help and give them snacks. It hurts my heart that they come down the block to get me when their parents are home or even outside.
