Fox News morning news alert: “Most men just want a woman who’s nice”

This morning, anyone who has alerts set up from Fox News got this message: “Most men just want a woman who’s nice.” And a collective “HUH?” was heard throughout the land.

Suzanne Venker has made a living trolling women who are the breadwinners of their families, work outside the home, and think their voice is just as important as any man’s in the room. And she’s done it again, with an article published today on Fox News, “Most men just want a woman who’s nice.”

Venker’s newest article adds to her ever-growing list of drivel.

She’s made a name for herself railing against feminism, the very vehicle that’s enabled her to make money spewing this nonsense in the first place. Oh, the irony.

Here are some of her greatest hits:

Yup, so this alert this morning actually stemmed from something a woman wrote. Here’s the part where some will say, “Hey! You’re not a feminist! Feminists support all women!” No, we sure as hell do not. Sorry to confuse you, but feminism is not an unrelenting commitment to support people (male or female) spewing anti-woman garbage. It’s a commitment to equality. That’s it. I have my feminist card, and no where on it does it say I need to support women who push heteronormative, anti-woman, archaic, crap.

Twitter did what it does best — took this alert and ran with it. My love for you runs deep, Twitter.

“Most husbands have no desire to lord over their wives, but they don’t want to fight with them either. All they want is peace,” Venker writes. “And the nicer you are, the more likely they are to find it.”

“That’s what men like: women who are easy to love.”
