Disney dog costumes = best Halloween idea ever

Halloween is just around the corner, which means a night of door knocking, pumpkin carving, and sneaking, like, four (or five or six) Twix bars out of your kid’s candy bag. It’s also the one acceptable day out of the year that you can dress your dog up in something ridiculously whimsical. Disney released a line of insanely cute doggie costumes and they’re pretty much a furry dream come true.

The dog costume collection ranges from iconic Disney princesses to a some classic cartoon characters. Buckle up. There’s a picture of a very tiny pup dressed as Winnie the Pooh up ahead.

Ariel

Does your pup’s bark have the lilt of a beautiful, singing mermaid? Can he/she rock the hell out of a red wig? If so, this Ariel costume is the way to go. Playing “Under the Sea” while your dog prances around in fish scales is not required, but highly recommended.

Incredibles

Amazon

Let your pupper dress as the super hero in-training that he or she is with this insanely adorable Incredible ensemble. Bonus points if you can get them to keep that mask on all night.

Dumbo

Amazon

Or if you’re in the mood for a good cry, outfit man’s best friend in this Dumbo costume. I’m already kind of tearing up here TBH.

Jessie

Amazon

If you’ve got a very good girl who’s always ready for adventure, then this Jessie outfit is just their ticket. The yarn wig. We simply cannot even.

Belle

If your dog is more of a spunky rebel, then definitely go with this Belle costume. It’s cute, surprisingly elegant, and there’s a very sweet, dainty ribbon attached to the curly brown wig. Dancing candlesticks sadly not included.

Buzz Lightyear

Your dog might not actually go to infinity and beyond in this Buzz Lightyear costume, but they’ll sure look cute trying. This one comes complete with a light-up jet pack and official name tag to remind everyone that your pet is, indeed, a Space Ranger.

Woody

And, I mean, you really can’t have Buzz Lightyear without his best pal Woody. Dress your other dog up as everyone’s favorite toy sheriff, turn on “You’ve Got A Friend In Me,” and prepare to get a little emotional.

Winnie the Pooh

I didn’t quite realize that the best thing in the world would be the sight of a pup dressed as Winnie the Pooh, but here we are. This costume is just pure sunshine wrapped in more sunshine. 1,000 bonus points if you go dressed as Christopher Robin.

Piglet

Save this Piglet costume for your shyest, most gentle pup. On Halloween, we should all wear pink.

Snow White

Nobody, I repeat nobody, will try to give a poisoned apple to this bundle of pure, sparkly cuteness. All dogs should wear red bows at all times.

Donald Duck

On that note, all dogs should probably dress like Donald Duck at all times as well. Especially if they’re pugs. Be still my heart.

Well, there you have it. The #1 reason to get excited about Halloween this year is dogs dressed as Disney characters. Pure joy is just one fluffy Buzz Lightyear away.
