This little girl is serious about her chocolate milk, OK?

Watching young children learn about the world around them is one of the most amusing and joyous parts of parenting. They absorb everything like a giant sponge, taking in all the new sights and sounds and processing it in their little brains. The best part about it all, for us parents anyway, is how funny they can be when presented with new information. Take little Ava Lukitsch, for example, who just very recently became a big sister and had her first lesson on breastfeeding.

She walked into the hospital room where her mom, Ali, was breastfeeding her new sister Hannah. At first, Ava wasn’t sure what the heck was going on there. She even scolds the newborn with a “You bite! You bite!” After her mom explained to her that this is how the baby “gets her milk”, Ava accepted this as fact with a “oh, your boobie!” but wasn’t completely satisfied with the answer. Enjoy.

WHERE IS THE CHOCOLATE MILK AT?

Honestly, can you blame her? First, this new baby looks like she’s biting her mom. Which is probably as confusing as it is frightening to a toddler. After Ava learns that babies drink milk, and this is how her sister Hannah gets said milk, you just know the wheels in her mind are turning. Like, “Ok, that’s fine, Mom. Then kindly give me some chocolate milk while you’re at it.”

The video has been shared thousands of times in every Facebook “mommy group” imaginable, because even if you can’t relate (and many seasoned moms can), you will find it absolutely hilarious. In case you’re wondering, adorable Ava did indeed get her requested chocolate milk, thankyouverymuch.

It’s literally impossible to not laugh while watching her innocent, gleeful reaction to her precious “chocka meelk.” And her mom is all of us. From the mouths of babes, am I right?
