Chris Pratt’s Video Journal Of His Extreme Diet Will Make You LOL

The actor is dropping pounds for Jurassic World 2

Chris Pratt is major husband envy for wives everywhere and a mega-successful movie star but now he’s also our favorite fitness guru thanks to his hilarious #WHATSMYSNACK videos.

The star of Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Parks and Rec started chronicling his 250-calorie snack packs in cackle-inducing videos he shares on Instagram. As he slims down for Jurassic World 2, the 37-year-old actor has been reduced to an extreme diet, which we all know can make someone a little frenzied.

We’re going to start with his late-night binge because that’s where all my diets begin and end. “It’s 10:53 p.m. and I should go to bed but instead I’m gonna maybe eat my snack for tomorrow,” Pratt whispers into the camera before zooming in on a very small cake made of pistachio olive oil. Don’t you love what is considered “cake” when you’re on a diet?

“What if I only have half?” he asks the camera. We all know where this is going. You’re too hungry, Chris! You’ll never stop after one bite. Within seconds the supposedly delicious snack is gone… well, except for a tiny crumb that the actor saved “for tomorrow.” Next up, the husband and dad breaks into a sashimi pack. Sadly, he’s only permitted 250 calories, so he doesn’t get to gorge himself on sushi like we do.

Still, when you’re that hungry and amount of sushi will make you moan with glory while your eyes roll back. Pratt gave his honest take on the snack pack in the caption writing, “Watch me eat cat food like a good little boy.” Onto the next conundrum every dieter is all too familiar with: the undecipherable superfood.

“Cay-oh-CAY-oh, BAY-o-bab, BA-na-na, CHI-uh,” the actor reads multiple times, each worse than the last. Truth, we know what most of the ingredients in his tiny “shake” were but definitely had to google baobab. #NotVeryGoodAtDiets. For the record, it’s a fruit powder. And for the last installment of #WHATSMYSNACK Pratt decides to indulge in some real fruit.

He attempts to keep it cool and “manly” after falling weak to the charms of the pistachio olive oil cake. Sadly, when you’re on an intense nutritional plan, even a small apple can turn you into a savage beast.
