Today, I’m celebrating the kids who made me a mother.

The crazy little clan, all belonging to me.

The mischievous creatures,

who are so very sweet at the core,

and the very best of friends.

The ones who hardly ever sit still…

at least, all together.

Because I wouldn’t be celebrating today without them.

And, life just wouldn’t be the same.

{Photographer Gino Amasia was kind enough to meet the kids and I a few weeks ago to take these shots. The kids were so misbehaved, it’s a miracle he got anything decent, never mind several I want to frame. Thank you, Gino, for your playfulness and patience. The kids can’t wait to do it again!}

I am in MD and would love a photo session – actually it was rather depressing as I wrote my Mother’s Day post and I realized I had no pictures of me and my daughter together from the time she was 5 on.

Your children are adorable, and they are quite photogenic. From the looks of the pictures, you can’t tell they were misbehaving. Just the cutest smiles. I can see why you are so proud.

I’m not far from Maryland, and can be there in a few hours, so count me in.

Love the photos. I have not been able to get a good pic of my two kids, 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 for the past 2 years. The 2 year old is all boy and will not sit still for anything. Somehow my cousin was able to pose her yippy, yappy dogs in costume for her Christmas card and despite many, many attempts each photo of my kids has someone running away. I would love if Gino could take us on and get great photos like you posted. Pick me, pick me!!

Maryland is where I was born and raised, and living in TX makes for a big scenery change. I love going home to visit my family three or four times a year and just soaking up the greenery! The photographer did an amazing job with your pictures, and reminding me how much I love MD…. thanks for sharing.
