What do you do with your children’s drawings?
Stick them on the refrigerator? File them away in a shoe box? Wallpaper the playroom? Whatever it is, I’m pretty sure Ruth Oosterman has you beat.
In a series she calls “A painting collaboration with my toddler,” the Canadian artist takes what most parents would view as scribbles and uses them as a starting point for her whimsical paintings.
Think of Ruth and her daughter, Eve, the next time you smuggle scribbles out to the recycling.
We can’t all be this cool.
