TJ’s asked its customers If you were to spend the rest of your life on a deserted island, which nine Trader Joe’s products would you take with you? — and over 18,000 of you weighed in! See if your fave product made the “best of” list ahead.

Best Beverage: Sparkling Honeycrisp Apple Juice Beverage

Beating out TJ’s non-dairy alternatives and other seasonal faves is its sparkling apple juice. The autumnal canned drink contains 100% honeycrisp apple juice, water, and bubbles.

Best Cheese: Cheddar with Caramelized Onions

TJ’s turns out hundreds of different cheeses every year, but customers’ favorite is the full-bodied English farmhouse cheddar doused in onion marmalade. Your sandwich will be oozing with decadence.

Best Entree: Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice

TJ’s Kung Pao Chicken and Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese was no match for this authentic Indian entree. Chicken is served over basmati rice in a creamy, tomato, onion, garlic, and ginger curry.

Best Produce: Bananas

Typically priced under 20 cents, bananas have TJ’s customers going bananas! Produce runner-ups include Teeny Tiny Avocados, Brussel Sprouts, and Organic Carrots of Many Colors.

Best Snack: Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chip

The spicy chips are made from stone ground corn masa that is cut, rolled, and fried, and powdered with hot chili-lime seasoning. Enjoy with sandwiches, burgers, dips, or as is!

Best Dessert: Hold the Cone! Mini Ice Cream Cones

To no surprise, TJ’s mini cones rank supreme among its sweet offerings. Since its debut, the bite-sized treats have evolved into other flavors like coffee, peppermint, and pumpkin.

Best Vegan/Vegetarian: Vegan Kale, Cashew, & Basil Pesto

Yummy as a spread or dip, the pesto’s secret ingredients (garlic and lemon juice) catapult it to the next level. TJ’s Vegetable Fried Rice and Beefless Bulgogi got honorable mentions.

Best Household: Scented Candles

TJ’s soy-wax candle selection knocks other household products like its legendary body butter, refreshing body wash, and scented lotions out of the park. New scents are released seasonally.

Best Overall: Chili & Lime Flavored Rolled Corn Tortilla Chip

Per patrons, this spicy snack is the best of the best. The chips are gluten-free and pair deliciously with TJ’s Avocado's Number Guacamole and Roasted Garlic Hummus.
