Angelina Jolie and her kids turned heads at the Maleficent 2 premiere

Ready to feel old? Angelina Jolie’s famous kiddos are basically all teenagers now and have become red carpet killers just like their mama. Jolie and five of her kids (18-year-old Maddox is off at college) walked the carpet together at the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil premiere in Hollywood on Monday September, 30, 2019, and we can’t get over this famous crew.

The family color-coordinated in witchy Maleficent-inspired black ensembles. Jolie wore a shiny black off-the-shoulder dress with a spider brooch. 15-year-old Pax looked oh-so-15 in designer duds and ultra clean (and probably ultra expensive) white Nikes. 14-year-old Zahara absolutely shined in a gothic black gown. 13-year-old Shiloh kept it casual in sneakers and a moto jacket. 11-year-old Knox rocked an emerald green blazer, while his twin sister looked cute in a little black denim jacket.

The thing we can’t ignore is how happy everyone looks. Jolie is fiercely protective of her kids and for many years we rarely saw photos of her family, but tonight they all got dressed up and seemed to be having a blast.

Despite her fame, Jolie seems like a pretty normal mom. She was once spotted selling treats at the local dog park in her neighborhood just like any other mom tasked with assisting at a bake sale.

When she dropped Maddox off at college, she was every mom on the first day of college. “I leave today; today’s the day I drop him off,” Jolie told the crowds at her son’s college dropoff day. “I’m trying not to cry.”

Last month, Jolie talked to Hello! about her family’s low-key Mother’s Day plans (“my children make me breakfast and pick me flowers — they treat me like a lady”) and what it’s like to raise teenagers (“I find my children are strong individuals but still open-minded. I try to lead by example and be kind and gracious, as my mother was — and loving and tolerant.”)

We also can’t get over a family of six that all want to hang out with their mom. They seemingly all attend every premiere, screening, and event with Jolie — though we have no idea how often “But moooommm, why do I have to goooo?” happens behind the scenes. Regardless, what a beautiful family and a badass single mom.
