Fall Activities: What You Hope For Vs. What It Is

We’re excited for fall, but our expectations are always a little unrealistic for the activities we have planned. We think apple picking will be a bonding experience, but end up sweaty, cranky, and with more apples any family could ever eat. We think it will be fun to help the kids carve pumpkins, until we have to watch them with sharp objects and our anxiety kicks in. Fall activities are always messier and more stressful than we planned for, but that’s part of the fun. And remember what’s most important: They go back to school on Monday.
