Le Creuset Just Dropped Affordable Pumpkin-Inspired Bakeware For Fall
The Le Creuset pumpkin bakeware collection starts at just $15
If you’re perusing the internet this morning with a Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte in one hand and an apple pie fall harvest candle in the other, put one of them down so you have a free hand to shop the new pumpkin-inspired collection at Le Creuset. If you’re going to commit to the holiday, you better believe you should be cooking up some butternut squash soup in one of these adorable cocottes.
French cookware brand Le Creuset is famous for coming out with collections that we Must Have in our kitchens. While some of them can break the bank, the company just dropped a pumpkin collection that’s adorable and affordable. I don’t know about you but nothing screams “Halloween” like stoneware shaped like everyone’s favorite seasonal gourd.
The Le Creuset pumpkin collection includes full-size and petite pumpkin-shaped cocottes and dishes in both orange and meringue and made with enameled cast-iron material. If you own any pieces by Le Creuset, you know they are durable and absolute perfection to cook in. Plus, they are gorgeous to look at so they make any table setting just a little bit fancier — and who doesn’t like a little fanciness every once in a while, especially around the holidays.
The collection starts at just $15 for a five-inch dish that seems like the perfect vessel for everyone’s favorite Halloween treat, candy corn (don’t argue with me). The Petite Pumpkin dish “can be filled with candy at Halloween or a single serving of a festive accouterment,” according to their site. If that sentence doesn’t make the cockles of your cold, dead heart smile — I don’t know what will.
The lidded cocottes (aka Dutch Ovens) are a bit more expensive but equally as adorable. The small size, which measures around six inches wide, sells for $30 and the full-sized cocotte, which holds 2-1/4 quarts, has a list price of $235 but the pumpkin collection is on sale, so it’s selling for $150 (hint: hurry) right now.
The stoneware is microwave, freezer, dishwasher, and broiler safe, and short of dropping one on your toe and promptly throwing it across the kitchen whilst screaming every swear word in existence, there’s literally nothing you can do to destroy them.
There are a plethora of holiday-themed recipes you could make in these — stuffed butternut squash, apple-carrot soup, pecan pie, stuffing — the possibilities are endless. Hell, you could pour your morning cereal in the petite cocotte if you feel like it. It’s the holidays, there are no rules.
Check out all the adorableness on their website and treat yourself to a very festive and tasty fall.
