This may be the first trip abroad for little Archie, but he already looks like a pro

Prince Archie, the first son of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle, may be only four months old. But the kid is already accompanying his parents on his first international state visit. And from the looks of how well it appears to be going, it clearly won’t be his last. The kid is already a professional at this.

Harry and Meghan are in South Africa right now, and while in Cape Town, during a meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his wife and daughter, the royal couple decided to bring little Archie along. Suffice it to say, the baby was a hit. This is a kid so cute that even international dignitaries have to take a moment to coo and fuss over him. Seriously, my heart.

From the videos that are now all over the internet of the newest royal baby’s big meeting, it looks like Archie smiled and laughed the entire time. He was a literal little prince.

Seriously, how is the kid such a pro at this already? He is charming as can be.

And just look at this video of Archie meeting the Tutus for the first time, and how their faces light up when they see him. Clearly the royal baby just brings light and happiness wherever he goes (much like his incredible parents).

During the meeting, Meghan held the baby on her lap and bounced him a little to keep him occupied, not that it seemed like he needed it. He looked perfectly content to be there, among some of the world’s most impressive leaders and thinkers. A casual day for an infant.

The family is all together in Cape Town for now, but later on in their state visit, they’ll split up. While Harry heads off on work visits to Botswana, Angola, and Malawi, Meghan (and presumably Archie) will stay behind in South Africa where she’ll join round table discussions about women in business in Africa. Stops include the Woodstock Exchange, where she’ll meet with female entrepreneurs and investors in the tech industry, as well as a visit to mothers2mothers, a charity that trains women with HIV to work in healthcare. We can only hope she’ll bring the baby along for those, too, because we’re dying for more photos and videos of him exploring the world and meeting new people.

The family will reunite in Johannesburg early next week. By then, Archie should be an absolutely seasoned traveler ready for his next adventure. In fact, he clearly already is. Where will the royal baby jet-set off to next? We can’t wait to see.
