Star Wars fans who want an Instant Pot are in luck this year

If you were struggling for a holiday gift idea for the extremely serious Star Wars fan in your life who also likes cooking tasty dinners on the fly, then we’ve got great news for you. Williams Sonoma just released a Star Wars-themed collection of Instant Pots that are so cute even non-fans will be tempted to pick one up.

Instant Pots are the hot appliance of like, the last four years or so (sorry, Air Fryer) and now, it’s just not enough to have the simple one. Not when there’s Pots modeled after your favorite Star Wars characters. This is a holiday gift no-brainer, honestly.

First up is everyone’s favorite hero droid, R2-D2. He comes in the 6-quart version and boasts seven functions in a single pot: pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice cooker, steamer, sauté pan, yogurt maker and warmer.

If six quarts just won’t do it, time to bring in the big guy — Chewbacca. His version has 8-quart capacity and has the same capabilities as R2 otherwise. They’ve captured his lush fur nicely, I think.

Darth Vader and the Storm Trooper are also 6-quart capacity and look about as menacing as a kitchen appliance can get.

But if all you need is a small meal or side dish, let sweet little BB-8 be your kitchen hero. He can hold three quarts and looks ridiculously adorable while doing it.

The prices range from $80 for BB to $120 for Chewbacca, so they’re a little pricey to collect them all. Not that that should stop a true fan from realizing their Star Wars Instant Pot dreams. That’s what a holiday wishlist is for, right?

As long as we’re on the topic of expensive Star Wars-themed holiday gifts, we’d be remiss if we didn’t point out that there is also a Star Wars-themed Le Creuset collection. If you have a spare $395 burning a hole in your pocket, then maybe you need a Darth Vader dutch oven. The better question might be, who doesn’t need a Darth Vader dutch oven?

Or maybe this trio of extremely cute Droid cocottes is more to your taste. They’re perfect for pot pies or desserts or just displaying on your shelves because, adorable.

*Clears throat* In summation, this is pretty much the year for anyone who cooks and obsesses over all things Star Wars. Your gift-buying will be easy and their Christmas morning will be very pleasing. May the force (and Black Friday sales) be with you!
