Plenty of kids attended marches all over the world

Protesting in yesterday’s March on Washington and in sister marches in 600 cities all over the world was more than an event for just women. So many families attended together, with kids carrying their own signs and learning firsthand what it means to have their voices heard.

From six-year-old Sophie Cruz and her incredible speech about immigration at the Washington demonstration to high school student Dannah Wilson and her brilliant words to Betsy DeVos, Trump’s totally unqualified pick for Secretary of Education, kids are proving they’re more than ready to have a say in how our country works. That’s why it makes complete sense for parents to involve their child in politics, both to educate and empower.

Check out these beautiful images from marches yesterday and try not to have hope for the future.

We couldn’t be more in awe of these “nasty” parents and their fantastic kids. These images give such hope for the next generation and the best part is that the march was just the beginning. We can’t wait to see what they do next.
