There’s no greater happiness than Adele watching the Spice Girls

We all remember the bands that made us squeal with happiness when we were young. If we were ever lucky enough to catch one live, it meant everything (I’m looking at you New Kids On The Block). Adele perfectly summed up what it’s like to experience them in real life, giving us the cutest fangirl sesh of all time when she went to see the Spice Girls.

“Oiii last time I saw the Spice Girls at Wembley was 21 years ago!” the singer wrote on Instagram. “Tonight with my nearest and dearest i cried, laughed, screamed, danced, reminisced and fell back in love with my 10 year old self.”

In a series of pictures and videos, Adele begins by singing “Spice Up Your Life” on the way to the show, clearly fulfilling all her childhood fantasies. The mom-of-one also got to meet the band and party with them backstage. Geri Horner and Emma Bunton shared some of the adorable pics:

This was the final night of the Spice World tour at Wembley Stadium where four of five Spices — Geri, Mel B, Mel C, and Emma Bunton — have been selling out stadiums for months. Victoria Beckham opted out of the reunion tour but that didn’t seem to slow down Adele’s massive celebration.

The Grammy award-winning singer has been a vocal fan of the Spice Girls forever. She’s covered their songs at her own concerts in the past and posted the most adorable throwback upon hearing the news the band was reuniting and going on the road this year. “HA! This is how I feel right now! I AM READY,” the singer wrote in the caption. One can only imagine her joy when all five Spice Girls announced they’d be getting their own movie.

“It’s no secret how much I love them, how much they inspired me to run for my life and never look back,” she said. “I finally got to meet Ginger, I got drunk with the girls and quite frankly I can’t believe how far I’ve come,” thanking them at the end.

In another video, the Spice Girls were joined by their moms and kids onstage and Adele openly cried and said “We’re all mums now! We’re all mums.” If you haven’t cried at her happiness yet, this would be the time to do so.

May we all experience, even once in our lives, the pure, unadulterated joy Adele felt seeing a Spice Girls concert.
