Amber Rose’s face tattoo honors her son’s Bash and Slash

Typically when we think of face tattoos we don’t immediately think of of it as an act of motherly love, but there’s a first time for everything. Model and activist Amber Rose just got both her son’s names tattooed on her forehead and okay queen, do you.

Rose’s new forehead ink says “Bash” and “Slash” in honor of her two sons: 7-year-old Sebastian Taylor Thomaz aka “Bash” and four-month-old Slash Electric Alexander Edwards. To be fair, if you’re gonna tattoo anyone’s names of your forehead, Bash and Slash are great tattoo names. I mean, imagine if Amber Rose’s kid’s were named like, “Chad” and “Ryan.” Not quite the same vibe on a forehead.

Rose debuted her new forehead ink in a shoe shopping YouTube video with CoolKicks on February 7, 2020, but didn’t address the face art whatsoever.

Unfortunately, the comment sections filled with typical mean-spirited chatter, so on February 12 she posted a few photos of her tattoo on Instagram along with the very pointed comment, “Beauty is not what’s on the outside….it’s what’s on the inside that counts.”

Not only that, but Rose’s boyfriend and Slash’s father Alexander “AE” Edwards got a similar forehead tattoo to signify his son and his step-son Bash’s birthdate as well, which is the ultimate commitment to honoring your blended family.

Rose and her partner AE seem pretty happy with their body art, but one of the biggest troll complaints about her new ink is that Rose is “too pretty” for a face tattoo, but she quickly shut that noise down.

“For the people that are telling me I’m too pretty for a face tat are the same people that would tell me that I’m ‘too pretty’ even if They thought I was ugly and lie to me,” Rose wrote on Instagram. “So either way The moral of the story is do whatever the fuck you want in life.”

However you feel about face tattoos, she’s not wrong. If following your bliss is your children’s names on your forehead, spread your wings, girl and fly.
