You have to watch this clip from the upcoming season of The Bachelor AT ONCE

God bless this beautiful grifter in the promo for the upcoming season of The Bachelor, because she did not come to play. During her introduction with bachelor Colton Underwood, she puts on a fake Australian accent and it’s amazing.

Why? Well, like she says, “you’ve got to do what you can to stand out.”

“You’ve got a nice accent. Where are you from?” Underwood asks in the clip.

“The accent, it’s Australian, I was hoping that you’re kind of a sucker for accents,” answers the contestant-slash-scammer, Brianna.

Welp, I personally haven’t watched the show since that hot single dad changed his mind AFTER THE FINALE like a real asshole. But consider me invested, honey, because I need to see how this plays out.

Two things immediately struck me after watching the clip. One, she makes sure she says “the accent” is Australian, not that she is. So technically, she’s not lying — point one for Sultry Scammer.

The second thing is that the Australian accent is not an easy one to do! (I am a Theater Person™ so I feel qualified enough to state this.) Hers is really good!

It was obviously enough to convince ol’ Colton, anyway. It was also enough to convince the entire internet that this woman absolutely rules.

It’ll be very interesting to see how long she keeps this up. It’s very difficult to get angry or righteous over the fact that she’s outright deceiving him, as it’s a ridiculous reality show and should be given all the seriousness one would give Pee-Wee’s Playhouse. (No offense to Pee-Wee, of course.)

Cheers to this season of The Bachelor! Monday night can’t come soon enough.
