The Cinderella Latte combines the Pumpkin Spice Latte with the White Chocolate Mocha

If you love Pumpkin Spice Lattes, you might want to look into the secret and seasonal “Cinderella Latte.” Basically, during PSL season, Starbucks fans who want something with a tad more chocolate order the Cinderella Latte which is a Pumpkin Spice Latte crossed with a White Chocolate Mocha and you can get it hot, iced, or as a Frappuccino

As this is a somewhat niche and secret creation (and because some sites like The Barista Life also refer to the drink as “The White Tiger”), you’ll have to tell your local Starbucks barista how to make the drink. According to Instagrammer HappiestTeesOnEarth, a Seattle-based barista who popularized the drink in 2018, the best way to order the drink is to ask for a Grande Pumpkin Spice Latte and sub in White Chocolate Mocha Sauce for half the pumps of Pumpkin Sauce.

HappiestTeesOnEarth calls it the “Cinderella Latte” because “the white pumpkin reminded me of Cinderella’s coach” and said that she created the drink in 2018 along with several other Disney-inspired libations as a “way to spread a little magic and happiness to my customers and coworkers” and noted that “it quickly became ‘a thing.’”

Now that we are safely in PSL season, these secret drinks have already been spotted out in the wild.

According to the Leaf Rakers Society (via Bustle) — a closed Facebook group for Starbucks and fall enthusiasts — there is no one way to order the Cinderella Latte as long as it includes both Pumpkin Sauce and White Chocolate Mocha Sauce. Some people order a White Chocolate Mocha Latte to start and then add in two pumps of Pumpkin Sauce. It’s totally up to you, but the key takeaway is that the Cinderella Latte tastes like pumpkin and white chocolate all swirled together and you can only order it during PSL season. Happy sipping!
