Jell-O Just Released Edible Slime And Your Kid's Going To Want It
Edible slime is officially a thing and your whole family’s going to want to get in on this
If there were ever an invention that would make your kids literally burst from happiness, it’s edible slime. Jell-O just released two flavors of this ooey-gooey treat and it looks so intriguing that you might even want to take a bite. You know, just a really small one when no one else is looking.
Okay, so what can you expect from this whole slime-y experience? The product is 100% edible and super easy to make. All you have to do is measure three cups of the slime mix and toss it into a medium-sized bowl. Then, pour some warm water into that bowl and stir for thirty seconds. Add another tablespoon of water in there and then BAM. You’ve got yourself some super colorful, (hopefully) super tasty slime.
First up, we’ve got Unicorn Slime. Behold this explosion of pink deliciousness.
It looks like frosting or cookie batter and we’re not at all upset by it.
It sounds like the texture is all kinds of fun. “The slime stretches if you pull it slowly, but snaps if you pull it apart fast,” Jell-O’s product description explains. “It’s firm if you squeeze it, but it can also pour and drip like a liquid.”
This unicorn goo tastes just like strawberry (and we imagine rainbows and magic as well). Side note: if your kids are super into the idea of making slime but not super into the idea of eating it, never fear. They can play their hearts out AND it won’t make a mess. According to Jell-O, the slime “washes away easily with soap and water.”
Bring it on. Bring it all on.
There’s also a Monster Slime, which tastes just like lime. Also, it’s bright, bright neon green and the whole family is going to want to stick their hands in it immediately.
Each canister serves up two large servings and they ring in at $10. The slime lasts for about an hour and, once it starts to deteriorate, you can just add more warm water to keep the good times coming. Happy playtime, everybody! None of us are too good to stick a fistful of unicorn slime into our mouths.
