Kim Kardashian tweeted about a big problem with Jack in the Box and the internet has lots of jokes

Today’s funniest story involves Kim Kardashian, Jack in the Box, and the internet. The reality star took to Twitter to alert the food chain that she had a serious issue with something and they had better get in touch ASAP. This prompted an in-depth online discussion and rampant speculation about what in the world Jack in the Box screwed up, along with many, many jokes.

Kardashian started #JackInTheBoxGate, by posting a stern public message for all to see.

“Hey, Jack In The Box I have a serious complaint but I won’t fully put you on blast, check your corporate email inbox or send me a DM with direct person for my team to contact. Pronto!” she tweeted.

Yeah, so, shots were officially fired…

People were immediately invested in the situation. Why was Kim K pissed? What did the fast food chain do? And WHAT type of food order should we never, ever buy from Jack in the Box again?

Others imagined the straight chaos that was currently going on behind-the-scenes at Jack in the Box.

And some had their own complaints about Jack in the Box.

The biggest gem of this whole situation? Other fast food chains gleefully got involved in all of the drama. Burger King kicked off the shade with a tweet that read: “Jack In The Box to the principal’s office.”

Not to be outdone, Wendy’s hopped in with: “but like, who even goes there?”

Steak-umm was also feeling pretty sassy and tweeted, “kim why are you going to jack in the box lol.” Shake Shack’s Twitter account simply tweeted out the shifty eyes emoji.

Carl’s Jr took the cake, though.

McDonalds and Sonic have yet to release public statements.

Meanwhile, we finally started to get some clarity on this whole dramatic fast food situation. Kardashian followed up her tweet with a little more information for her rowdy, deeply invested internet crowd.

“I would like to add that this is not about me or a wrong order.” she wrote. “Nobody recognized me and it’s something that I observed that affected other customers at this particular location that was concerning.”

Unsurprisingly, Jack in the Box was on it. “Hi Kim, we are unable to DM you,” the company tweeted. “Please send us a DM with how we can get in touch with your team & someone will reach out immediately.”

From there, it looks like things were taken care of. “Thank you @JackBox for the quick response and handling the situation!” Kardashian tweeted.

So it looks like this fast food drama and intrigue is over for now. I guess we can all go back to ordering our usual Jack in the Box spicy chicken strips and milk shakes with limited amounts of guilt.
