Melania Calls For 'Kindness And Compassion,' World Begs Her To STFU
Last night, Melania Trump made her first public appearance since she boarded a plane to visit migrant children separated from their parents wearing an “I really don’t care” jacket. She spoke at the “Students Against Destructive Decisions” annual conference in Virginia.
No, she wasn’t warning them all never to marry for money (which would honestly be the only spin that would make sense here). She was there to blob together some nonsense words in an effort to look like a human with a heart, who actually cares about things. Spoiler alert: it didn’t work.
“Kindness, compassion, and positivity are very important traits in life. It is far easier to say nothing than it is to speak words of kindness. It is easier to judge quickly than to take time to understand. It is often easier to see a glass half-empty than half full,” she said to an audience of teenagers and their parents. “You have the power to be the positive force in so many people’s lives. Show respect to each other. Treat your community like your family, and look out for one another,” she added.
UM, WHAT? There are babies, toddlers, and young children currently floating around in foster care in this country. Their parents DO NOT KNOW WHERE THEY ARE. How dare you speak of “looking out for one another” when your husband’s administration has been terrorizing families.

SADD was founded in 1981 as “Students Against Driving Drunk.” The organization expanded its mission in 1997. The website now states the group is committed to “prevention of all destructive behaviors and attitudes that are harmful to young people.”
Melania is basically the poster woman for destructive decisions. Her choice of husband? Wearing pumps to a hurricane-ravaged town? That absurd jacket? Procreating with he who shall not be named?
Melania does not get a pass for opening her mouth and letting the words “kindness” and “compassion” flop out of it. She doesn’t get any sympathy for being in a miserable marriage. She is a part of this family, presumably has her husband’s ear, and is complicit in this whole thing.
Let’s do a little recap on Melania, shall we?
