Melania Trump, wife of the most famous cyberbully, is vowing to fight cyberbullies

Melania Trump announced this week that if she becomes the First Lady, her focus would be to end bullying and cyberbullying.

Um, has she met her husband?

Is this a cry for help?

“As adults many of us are able to handle mean words, even lies,” she said. “Children and teenagers can be fragile. They are hurt when they are made fun of, or made to feel less, in looks or intelligence. This makes their life hard and can force them to hide and retreat.”

“Our culture has gotten too mean and too rough,” she said. So as First Lady, she claims online bullying would be one of her “main focuses.”

“We have to find a better way to talk to each other,” she said.

Hmm.

Her husband has basically become the poster boy for online bullying. The New York Times was able to fill a two-page spread, small print, with all of the insults Trump has hurled. Do you have any idea how many words it takes to fill two pages of small print in the NYT? Let us show you:

Twitter is not letting Melania slide with this one. At all.

Melania is not her husband, but wow is this speech tone deaf. And the backlash she’s getting for it is worse than the backlash her own husband gets for much, much, worse. So the question is, why is he celebrated for being so vile? This behavior is not presidential, yet so many people just don’t care.

Want to end cyberbullying Melania? Delete your husband’s Twitter account. That would be a good start.
