In many states, the deadline to register is 30 days before the election – that’s a week and a half away (find your state’s deadline here and voter ID requirements here.). If you are not registered already, you can register below, right now. We literally could not make it any easier for you.

Our right to vote is less than 100 years old — just over 50 in the case of Black women. In 1848, a group of suffragettes, including Elizabeth Cady Stanton, met in Seneca Falls, New York and declared, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that men and women are created equal.” They battled on for more than fifty years before women earned the right to vote in some Western states, and then until the 19th Amendment was ratified in 1920. Your great-grandmother was alive then, and perhaps your grandmother. Use the voice your foremothers fought so hard for: Vote!!!
