Poor Jameson looks like he’s had enough, already

Ahhh, kids. They always have the worst timing when it comes to getting sick (though it’s probably no picnic for them, either). When Pink’s husband, Carey Hart, shared just such a story on Instagram this week, he had every parent nodding in solidarity, saying, “Been there, dude.”

Sure, we may not all be traveling around the globe selling out stadiums on a world tour but we’ve all been the victims of bad kiddie illness timing. Hart shared the adorably sad pic of one-year-old son, Jameson, covered in a rash. “Wanna know how glamorous tour can be?” he wrote. “Jameson has hand, foot, and mouth; and Willow has a 102 temp. Both kids laid up and mama @pink still has to push through and do shows.”

According to the AAP, hand-foot-and-mouth can result in tiny blisters in the mouth and on fingers, the palms of hands, buttocks, and soles of the feet. Although the symptoms usually only last a little over a week, it can be extremely painful.

Hart also called out a woman for judging Jameson in a restaurant, saying, “I had Jameson at breakfast yesterday and this vile woman at the table next to us kept staring at him with a s***ty look on her face. I told her it was bed bugs. #NoRestForTheWicked #LifeInHotels.”

That woman wasn’t the only one clutching her pearls. Some people in the comments are chastising the dad of two for bringing the baby out in public while he’s sick and possibly contagious. Hand-foot-and-mouth can be spread for the first week but only if a person has direct contact with nose and throat discharges of the infected person or if someone comes into contact with their stool.

Hart was quick to respond to the haters, saying sarcastically, “Yeah, I took my kid to breakfast only wearing a diaper,” in response to critics assuming the photo Hart shared featured his son in his restaurant attire. Another comment was regarding how contagious the illness is to which he replied, “What’s your point? You think I let my kids eat off other people’s plates?”

The family has had their share of illness on the tour. Pink had to cancel several shows in Sydney recently when dealing with a gastric virus. When trolls hated on her for cancelling and then being spotted on a beach with her daughter, the singer had harsh words for her critics.

“I’ve already been sick twice (kids as well) on this Australian tour, but the first time we got sick, I was able to push through,” she wrote. “This time, what these parasite paparazzi don’t show you, is two doctor visits in Byron on two consecutive days, antibiotics, steroids, Vick’s, nose spray, throat spray, more steroids, NyQuil, a screaming baby in the middle of the night, every night, while mama gives him warm baths and tells her daughter everything is fine.”

Here’s hoping this mama and her family are on the mend soon.
