So she sought help through the Motherhood Center. “It felt wonderful to see women who were going through the same thing as me,” said Annie. “It was really affirming to see that other people were going through it, and that it’s very common.” Experts estimate that about 50% of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders go unreported. So it’s more common than we think.
