This air fryer is now an accessory to your Instant Pot

By now, most of us have bought into the Instant Pot craze because they are amazing and can cook anything a busy family needs in record time. Perhaps you’ve also invested in an Air Fryer, which also boasts of quick, healthy cooking. Both can be used by even the most novice of home cooks, but with precious counter space being taken up by county fair goldfish and art projects, it’s always tricky finding room for every new kitchen gadget that comes out. That is, until now.

There’s a new product on the market that will save time and space, two words that are music to any busy person’s ears. The Mealthy CrispLid promises to deliver all the benefits of an air fryer and it fits on your Instant Pot (or any pressure cooker) lid.

According to the description, the lid will “air fry, broil, and crisp directly in the stainless steel pot of your electric pressure cooker,” and fits all six and eight-quart stainless steel inner pots for electric pressure cookers. The lid and all accessories are also dishwasher-safe and 100 percent BPA-free.

But wait, there’s more. The lid also has a raised trivet, fryer basket, comes with stainless steel tongs, heat-resistant silicone mat, recipe booklet, and full-color user guide included, all for only $60.

The Mealthy lid also comes with a free (and ad-free) app that gives you tons of recipes, instructions, and more. The lid is 12.5 x 11.7 x 9.4 inches so it’s much smaller than your typical air fryer but does exactly the same for your foods. It’s the kitchen appliance that cooks by circulating hot air around the food using the convection mechanism, delivering a similar taste and texture as traditional fried foods but without the calories or grease. It’s a win-win-win.

To use the lid, just snap it into place and program it to air fry, broil, or crisp and wait for the lid to do the work. Who knows, it may free up time for you to relax, and by relax I mean put in a load of laundry, empty the dishwasher, or help your kid with their math homework.

The Mealthy CrispLid already has some great reviews on Amazon, with purchasers using words like “perfect” and “amazing” and “game changer.” One person has already made “french fries, fried zucchini, brussel sprouts, fried chicken, and falafels” so if you can’t afford one right now, I’d suggest stalking this reviewer so you can get some pretty amazing-sounding food ideas for free.

The CrispLid also is available for Amazon Prime, so if you’re a member, shipping is free and you only have to wait a short while before you can start saving time, counter space, and the headache of trying to figure out how you’re gonna feed your family while waiting in a dirty car at your kid’s soccer practice.
