YouTuber Makes Girlfriend Watch Their Son 'Blow Up' In The World's Worst Prank

by Ashley Austrew

We all love a good laugh, but there is such a thing as taking things too far. YouTuber Roman Atwood crossed that line this week when he tricked his girlfriend into believing their 3-year-old son was involved in a fiery four wheeler accident.

Atwood runs a Youtube channel that boasts over seven million subscribers and is known for going to extreme lengths to play tricks on his family and friends. His channel is devoted to pranks involving everything from surprise paint ball attacks to pretend sex tapes. In his latest video, he pretends he’s testing out a used four wheeler with his toddler son. When his girlfriend, Brittney Smith, comes to take a look, all hell breaks loose.

Unbeknownst to poor Smith, Atwood rigged the four wheeler with a remote control so he could have someone send it careening away with their son aboard.

She drives up in her truck and gets out to see the four wheeler. Atwood tells her he loves it and instructs her to go get the checkbook. She walks back to her truck and Atwood sends their little boy running to hide so he can replace the toddler with a custom made dummy.

When Smith comes back, the dummy is sitting on the four wheeler. Atwood pretends to let go of the handle bars and it goes barreling away. Smith frantically chases after the vehicle until it flies over a ramp, crashes, and immediately bursts into flames.

She recoils in terror, thinking her son was just blown to smithereens. As soon as the flames die down she races over the ramp, only to discover it was the worst prank in the entire world. She lunges at Atwood and tells him she’s “done” with him as their son comes running up from behind her. You can watch the whole thing play out for yourself:

Since the video went up, it’s been viewed over five million times. Some people, of course, find it hilarious. Others — like myself — really just want to know what the fuck is wrong with this guy.

Shockingly, this isn’t the first time Atwood has pretended to kill one of his children for laughs. In 2014, he posted another “Killing My Own Kid” prank video, in which he pretended to accidentally drop his five-year-old son off of a second story balcony while his then-wife looked on in horror.

It shouldn’t need to be said, but pretending to gravely injure your children isn’t funny. It’s especially not funny when their own mom is the butt of the joke. Atwood is essentially playing on his significant other’s greatest fears to make people on the internet laugh. That’s the dictionary definition of a dick move.

Parenting is a hard road if you don’t have a sense of humor, but this? This is just not funny.
