Sarah Ezrin

Sarah Ezrin, the award-winning author of The Yoga of Parenting, is based in the Bay Area where she lives with her two young boys, husband, and dog. Sarah started working with the BDG group in 2015 as a yoga expert for Bustle. She became a regular contributor for Scary Mommy in 2019, during her disillusioned pregnancy with her first son. In addition to writing personal essays, Sarah continues to provide yoga expertise for Romper. Sarah covers fitness, parenting, and mental health, often interweaving these themes.

Sarah has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor’s society. Sarah worked in the film business directly after college, but was ultimately unfulfilled (and stressed!). In 2008, she decided to pursue yoga and hasn’t looked back. Sarah is a well-respected yoga teacher and leader in the wellness community. A world traveler since birth, she has led yoga teacher training, workshops, and retreats locally and across the globe. Sarah’s debut book, The Yoga of Parenting, was a 2023 National Parenting Product Award Winner.

Sarah is also a frequent contributor for Yoga Journal, Motherly, Yoga International, Healthline, Yahoo! Parenting, Mind Body Green, Mantra Magazine, LA Yoga Magazine, and more. She has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine, Romper, Bustle, LA Weekly, and on NBC News for her expertise.

Sarah brings a wide spectrum of life experiences into everything she does. She is unafraid of sharing all sides of herself. Her willingness to be unabashedly honest and vulnerable along with her innate wisdom, make her writing, teaching, and social media great sources of healing and connection for many people.
