JLo’s kids prove that when it comes to talent, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree

JLo and Marc Anthony’s kids are what happens when you’re the product of two uber-talented performers — you’re highly likely to catch the performing bug yourself, but enhanced by having the actual genetics to back it up. As evidenced in JLo’s latest Instagram video, where her 11-year-old twins Max and Emme sing and play guitar.

Just listen to Max and Emme tear up the Vance Joy song “Riptide,” with Max on vocals and Emme on the guitar.

“My heart can’t take it,” the proud mama captions the video, and honestly — neither can we. It’s adorable, heart-melting, and most of all — really freaking good. After they finished the song, the small audience in the room broke out in applause. “Let’s do that again. I like it,” exclaimed Max.

This isn’t the first time JLo’s kids have stolen the show with their inherent talent. Earlier this year, Max performed for his proud parents at his school talent show, and the accompanying video gave us all a lesson in co-parenting done right.

“Those who can, do. Those who can’t, sit between two people that can and stay quiet!” LOL at Alex Rodriguez’s caption — at least he knows precisely where his talents lie, and they’re on the baseball diamond, not on the stage.

You can hear adorable, cherubic voices belting out the lyrics to Dolly Parton’s rendition of “I Will Always Love You” in the background. ARod pans his camera across the trio to show JLo and Anthony mouthing the lyrics to the song as he sits close-mouthed. What’s not to love about all the co-parenting love found in this sweet clip?

Not only did Max have some solo action here, but before that, his twin sister, Emme, went viral for showing off her own set of awesome pipes during a singing lesson. The super sweetest moment between mom and daughter happened during JLo’s tour, when Emme came out on stage in a similar gown to her mom’s and joined her in a duet that will have you reaching for the box of Kleenex faster than you can Google “JLo + The Dress.

With those kinds of chops found right in the family, it wouldn’t be an outlandish idea for ARod and JLo to look within their own brood for the wedding reception talent.
