This Is How The Ridiculously Rich Do Disney
Skip the lines and avoid the heat with a private VIP tour
While Disney World is often called the happiest place on Earth, there’s no denying the long lines, and Florida heat can get to even the biggest Walt fans. But if you’ve got a large stash of cash, you can make your theme park experience twice as enjoyable.
For just $425 to $600 an hour – AN HOUR – you can breeze through Walt Disney World like the fancy person you are. The high price tag gets you a VIP private tour guide who will personally take you from ride to ride. They’ll also drop you at the Fast Pass lane so you can avoid the long line the rest of us will be sweating and cursing in. And according to Redbook, they know all the best Disney secrets, like the secret door at the Tower of Terror if you change your mind about the ride.
You’ll also save time and energy since your Disney sherpa won’t have you walking through the park all day. Instead, they’ll escort you from ride to ride in an air-conditioned SUV. Take it from this native Floridian, the humidity is relentless and eight hours in it alongside thousands of people is brutal. Plus, since the SUV is supposedly filled with snacks, you can avoid anyone getting hangry in between meals and rides.
Exploring Disney isn’t just a daytime activity, though. Every night they have a fireworks shows and usually a parade. You’ll be safe from the crowds thanks to your VIP package, but if you’re feeling extra lavish, the theme park offers a private viewing area. And for just another $400 an hour, you can book a Disney yacht for the nighttime lights.
There are a few guidelines to consider as well. You must book the tour for at least seven straight hours, which even during the cheaper months would still run you $2,975 and that doesn’t cover meals, hotel stay, or the cost to get to Orlando. It does cover up to 10 guests (including babies) so you could split the cost with your friends or family.
If you’re thinking:, “who has the money for this” then think again because Disney has this disclaimer about its VIP experiences: “Private VIP Tours are very popular and may be limited in availability. We recommend booking up to 180 days in advance of your visit.”
