If you’re thinking about decorating for the holidays already, you’re not the only one. If it sparks some much-needed joy in your life, then why not? 2020 has been a dumpster fire, and there are officially no rules. Decorate for Halloween in August? Sure! Put up your tree in October? Do. It. At the very least, you can be planning for November, and November 1 is fair game for getting festive, whether that means buying ornamental turkeys for the mantle, or creating paper snowflakes for the windows. When I saw this pre-lit artificial cactus-shaped Christmas tree on Amazon, I knew that it was the perfect edition to my living room. It’s quirky, it’s fun, and it matches my little Spanish-style house in Los Angeles. And it’s something different than the standard tree (which is also wonderful and magical, don’t get me wrong), and I could use a little pizazz in my life.
You can get one that’s 5 feet, 6 feet, and 7 feet. It comes pre-lit with LED lights, red and golden ornaments, and a golden bow to top things off. The tree itself is made with eco-friendly PVC material, and all you really need to go with it is a tree skirt, and presents, obviously.
