Too Pretty To Do Homework

There was a bit of an uproar today when word got out that JCPenney was selling a shirt, ranging in size 7-16, which read, “I’m too pretty to do homework so my brother has to do it for me.”

Once the folks at Penney’s (we still call it that, right?) saw the fuss, they yanked the shirt from their site in record time.

I, however, don’t see what the big deal is.

I mean, Lily is really pretty— should she be expected to have brains as well? Why shouldn’t her brother do her homework for her? He’s the male, after all and we all know the men-folk are the smart ones. I would so much prefer she spend her time after school brushing her shiny hair or painting her nails than trivial things such as school work. Duh!

In fact, I have come up with some shirts of my very own for her to wear proudly to school. They really express the image I want my daughter to portray…

Cute, right?!

Hopefully you’ll see them soon at a JCPenney near you.
